SAN ANTONIO, Texas (February 20, 2010). The second half of the 2010 AMA Arenacross Series kicked-off on Saturday night from the legendary Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. After yet another memorable night of bar-banging action Moose Racings, Babbitt's Kawasaki's Josh Demuth, of North Richland Hills, Texas, raced to his second straight victory and third overall win of the season.
Points leader and Moose Racing's rider Tyler Bowers, of Danville, Ky., was the rider to beat on Saturday night, dominating the majority of the 25-lap AMA Arenacross class main event. However, as the race drew to a close, Demuth put forth one of the most impressive surges to close the gap on his teammate and steal the victory. With the win, Demuth gained another three points on Bowers in the season standings, reducing the deficit to 12 points with five rounds remaining. Bowers held on for second while fellow teammate Chad Johnson, of Rhinelander, Wis., helped give Babbitt's its third podium sweep of the 2010 season!!!
