Wins and Podium Appearances by Moose Racing Riders from Across the Globe

If you were able to make it out to the sixth round of the WORCS series this past weekend at Cahuilla Creek Raceway in Anza, Calif., then you were lucky enough to see multiple Moose Racing riders earn podium finishes in the all-new 2011 gear, which will be available this Fall.

In the Pro class, Justin Soule took home third place honors and closed the points gap on third place in the overall standings. Finishing right behind Soule, and also donning the new 2011 Moose Racing gear was former WORCS champion, Nathan Woods.

Current Pro 2 class points leader and Moose Racing team rider, Ryan Abbatoye earned well-deserved third place finish. Thanks to a three-race win streak and a solid podium finish this weekend, Abbatoye extended his championship points lead to 29 as the series head into the home stretch.

The WORCS series will take a bit of a break for the early summer months and return to action on July 30 - August 1, 2010 in Olympia, Wash. for the seventh round.

East coast racing action saw the fourth round of the Parts Unlimited OMA Nationals, dubbed the Whiskey Run, take place in Clay City, Ky. Geico Kawasaki and Moose Racing teammates, Jimmy Jarrett and Scotty Watkins both scored podium finishes in the Pro MC class with second and third place finishes, respectively.

Watkins maintains his overall series leads while Jarrett's second place finish moves him into a tie for second place overall, just seven points behind his teammate. The fifth round of the series, which also marks the halfway point, will take place July 10-11, 2010 at the Wolverine XC in Mesick, Mich.

Moose Racing riders also had some top finishes over in Europe starting with David Knight who took home a win and a third place finish in two days of competition at the FIM Enduro World Championship in Poland.

Knight's strong finishes gives him a 23-point lead atop the overall E3-class leader board. The GP of Slovenia will be the next round this coming weekend, June 19 - 20, 2010.

Also taking home a win overseas was Team Suzuki Off-road GB rider, Lee Edmondson who claimed first place overall at the second round of the GBXC Championship in Devon, England.

The team's youngest rider has been battling injuries throughout his 2010 campaign and was more than happy to get the win.

"Naturally I'm delighted to get another win under my belt after such a tough start to the year." Said Edmondson. "I'm looking forward to the rest of the season now with renewed enthusiasm."

Edmondson's teammate, Tom Sagar and team manager, Paul Edmondson will be looking to wrap up British Enduro Sprint Championship titles in the E1 and E2 classes when that series gets back under in the coming weeks.
