The second half of the 2010 FIM Enduro World Championship got underway this past weekend with the GP of Slovakia. Virtually every World Enduro round held in Eastern Europe has been met with rain and the GP of Slovakia was no different. Slick, technical and challenging courses greeted the riders throughout the two-day event and it would be the ultimate test of survival to make it through to the end of the weekend.

Saturday's E3 class race saw David Knight finish in the runner up position to his closest rival in the overall standings, Christophe Nambotin. After analyzing his day-one performance, Knight came out swinging on Sunday with a dominating ride, beating the second place finisher by a full minute. Knight's dominating performance netted him the overall for the weekend and further extended his championship point's lead to 30, ahead of Nambotin.

The Enduro World Championships will take a couple of months off for the summer before heading south to the Mediterranean and the GP of Greece on August 28 - 29, 2010.

In other European racing news, Moose Racing would like to welcome back their premier FIM Motocross World Championship racer, Manuel Priem, who has been on the sidelines with a broken back. The German Grand Prix was this past weekend and Priem was able to soldier to an 18th place finish in the second moto and 23rd place overall.

The speedy Belgian rider will be looking to improve on this result in the coming weeks as the series heads to Kegums, Latvia this coming weekend for the ninth round of the championship.
